I'm glad. I also appreciate your view on Germans being human. It IS a valuable thing to be able to see that anyone could end up being evil if they make the choices that lead them to that end. It's about a dwarf who lived in Germany during World War II. she and her father helped some of their Jewish friends (and other Jews passing through) by hiding them in their basement. it's interesting to read from the perspective of a German. i guess they weren't all nazis... ...really, she's a brave and inspiring character. overall, (although some parts are disturbing), i really enjoyed the book.alnoreply@blogger.com
