Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin

This is non-fiction about a guy who finds himself raising money for and building schools for kids in Pakistan. It's a great story. I'm glad there are people who are crazy enough to do stuff like this. It's amazing and inspiring and gives some perspective on my cushy American life.

  1. We read this in our book club. I loved it and admire this man tremendously. Kind of like I admire Mother Theresa. It has also brought new meaning to those pictures on the news of that area. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to the actual book club meeting. This month it's LDS fiction, but I like that for a different reason. Relaxing.
